Spring Break 2008

Caitlyn came to beautiful Baltimore for her Spring Break and we decided to head off to the Appilachian Trail. It started off well, but as you can see later it got just a little bit colder than we would have liked.
Some people may wonder why it took us a little longer to break camp than the other two boys we were camping with. This may be one of the reasons....
One of the vistas. The hike was stunning, but we plan to return in the fall, because the colors appear that they will be amazing.
And in the end she didn't kill me, which is incredible considering when we woke up on Easter morning EVERYTHING had frozen. By everything, I mean inside of our tents were ice, our water was blocks of ice, and even as we filtered water it froze. This picture was taken on Monday after it had snowed a good three inches at night, and continued to snow throughout the day.
