Some people would have posted these pictures first thing after arriving. I guess I just forgot. At any rate, this is where I've lived for the past three weeks, and where I"ll be returning to after I'm done trekking in the tribal villages.
The Sala, where we eat all our meals. And, of course, the pool. It also doubles as a bath for most people. I don't think I've gone on a run yet that wasn't followed up by a dip in the pool, still fully clothed.
The Ricefields house, where all female students and staff slumber. You can't see it very well, but there are a few little rice paddies in front of the house. When it rains, frogs come out of these in mass quantities, and often make a home in the pool. The pool at my back.
The Temple House. This is where all male students and staff live. The Ricefields house is straight to the left, if the picture were able to capture both homes. Yes, those are coconut trees. There are a few other buildings, the office, the kitchen, some storage, ect, but they were much less exciting.
If you call this exciting.
