Lolla the Corolla is back, and better than ever!
I'm pretty sure they rebuilt half the car, including things that were clearly not impacted by the accident. But I'm not complaining, it's high time my insurance company repaid all the deductibles I have EVER paid them. Did I really need all four hubcaps replaced? I'm pretty sure they were ALL in fine shape. Thank you Allstate. And the bumper: not damaged by my run in with guardrail. But who doesn't like a new bumper every now and again? It had gotten a little banged up after a few years here in Baltimore.
I don't understand the insurance assesment, so I can't tell if they replaced my breaks by looking at the invoice, but it sure feels like they did. Does anyone know: I did major suspension damage amoung other things, does that require replacing my breaks?
And I'm sure my parents are celebrating that I'm no longer on their policy. :)
While a car is not a necessity for me, it sure is nice to have one. Guilty pleasure: Driving to the gym. I know it's only a 10 minute walk, but it's just so cold! Especially after you've worked out. Who wants to walk home all sweaty?

I missed it, when did you hit a guardrail?
Nice! Lee might know about the breaks. I'll have to ask him about it.
I totally understand the walking home after you workout. I'll eat breakfast right after I work out and I start turning purple because I get cold! I can't imagine how purple you might get walking in the cold! Save the walking for the spring or summer!
Um... I must be a horrible friend becuase I messed the accident completely. This is why you need to live closer to me. I hope you're ok. loves.
