The temperature finally climbed out of the 40's today, so Nancy I decided it was the perfect day to take our bikes out for their inaugural spring spin. And, I finally put my basket on the Cocoa (Thanks, Mom!) so we were ready to bike and carry items. You might also notice that Nancy and I have now lived together long enough that we've taken to dressing alike, without actually communicating what we are going to wear. It's neat.
So, you might remember that we have a slight fixation with minor celebrities. John Astin ring a bell? Well, while we were riding around the reservoir we saw Geoff Manthrone from the show Ace of Cakes. Well, really Nancy saw him. And I was jealous. So of course I had to turn around and go ride past him. Twice. He is after all my favorite cast member.
But we couldn't just turn around and stalk him. That would be way too obvious. So instead we turned around, and then took pictures at an outlook over the city. Above was Nancy taking a self portrait, looking into the sun.
Ann: I can't keep my eyes open! How are you keeping your eyes open?
Nancy: The camera's shadow is on my face.

This is clearly not my natural picture position. I'm much more comfortable with the self portrait. I'm just not sure what do with myself when all of me is in the picture....
Back in the zone. Love the self portrait.
Another successful day on the bikes in Baltimore.

I LOVE GEOFF!!! He's my favorite too. I am so jealous.
I love the basket! So fun. Lee and I have been taking up bike riding lately, but have yet to find someone famous in our town.
