I've heard great things about the National Portrait Gallery the entire time I've lived in Baltimore, but since it's not right with the other Smithsonians I just hadn't made it there.Until this weekend, that is.
It is everything it's cracked up to be.
If you're in DC, make a priority, for sure.

I guess we will have to do that next time we come out to visit. Is it kid friendly? We might have to have you babysit if not.:)
