I have 11 kids today.
It is supposed to snow between 18 and 30 inches this weekend. Starting in two hours.
The kids are going home at 11:30.
I knew the storm was coming two days ago. People go crazy here, like they may never see food or toilet paper again. Usually I don't need to grocery shop around storm time. I usually think a little more in advance. But I haven't been to the grocery store in two weeks, so the cupboards are pretty bare. I tried going yesterday around 4. Not a spot to be found in the parking lot.
I tried again at 10:30. Still just as craz.
I hate shopping for food with hundreds of other people. So I went home.
I went again at 6:30 this morning. I wish I had brought a camera. No produce. None. Excpet the green tops of carrots and some cantaloupe.
No meat. No dairy. The store was wiped clean. And parking lot was still half full.
Luckily we can survive on the food in our freezer and food storage. And some cantaloupe.

whoa. Thanks for the warning, I was foolish enough the think I could go for some cereal after work. Marylanders just *might* be crazy.
Ha! Cantaloupe! Classic. If you guys get desperate, the 7-11 by your old place has hot dogs and slurpees. Those can hold you over for a few hours.
you updated your profile! i have been meaning to tell you that you no longer are in the 4th grade.
oh, and i hope that you have enough food...it sounds like you might never get out.:)
