News Flash

From the Beautiful Dallas F. Nicholas:

--The teacher next door to me just yelled to her children (remember how we have no real walls), and I quote: I'm breaking out! My skin is very sensitive children. Every time I get something I get it from you. Ring Worm, Scabies. I need to go to the nurse.

--It's 92 degrees in Baltimore today. I'm pretty sure I've lost 5 pounds because my school doesn't turn the air on until April 15.

--There is NO DRINKING WATER in the building. Isn't that illegal?

-- Today is picture day. And I totally forgot. BUT I did remember that it was about 3000 degrees yesterday, so I took a shower last night, pulled my hair into a poneytail, and didn't wear makeup today. Oh, and I wore Chacos. I am a vision of professionalism today.

--My kids are going to be equally visionary: pictures are AFTER LUNCH.

--This is typically how it goes with pictures. But in truth it just paints my classes the way I remember them looking. Me haggard and tired, and them covered in various things.

I had no idea Brent was in Tennessee, how fun. Andrew has tried to convince me many times that its okay to wear Chaco's to church. He always reminds me that Jesus wore sandals.
