Furniture

The other night we were at dinner. A friend asked us where we would go to find furniture in Baltimore.

I swallowed hard and prepared to break the news to them: There aren't any really good local places. Seriously.

We have found that really, to find something we think fits our style, we've (window) shopped catalogs, online, and Pottery Barn.

We have actually gone furniture shopping. We've tried. It's really hard to justify buying furniture from Pottery Barn, and we've looked HARD. The problem is, I didn't realize that furniture stores really do cater to the dominant demographic.

And we are in the minority.

This video is an accurate representation of what furniture shopping is like in dear old Baltimore. Thanks to Andrew, prepare to be entertained.

Wow...just wow. If all the employees rapped to me while I looked at couches and dining room tables, I'd totally shop there. At least once. This man is the Nathan Arizona of Maryland.

I get it. You don't like shopping for furniture in Baltimore because it requires dancing.
