Socks and Shoes

Help!

I've never met a man with feet on a mission to destroy whatever is put on them.

But Andrew's feet fit the bill.

Anyone have suggestions for SUPER durable socks and shoes for him to teach in? His socks get holes SO quickly. I've tried buying expensive, I've tried buying cheap, I've tried reinforced toes. His Christmas socks already have holes?!?!

He clips his toenails ALL the time...I thought maybe that was the problem, but no.

His shoes are big enough...they don't rub the top of the shoe.

I just don't understand.

Also, his current shoe life is about 6 months for teaching.

Any suggestions for a really durable but comfortable shoe he can teach in?

No picture of the alleged toes?
How can I make an educated guess?

My husband wears white athletic socks under his dress socks (if they're dark enough you can't see.) Those take a lot longer to wear through. And if you have a Ross nearby they have very nice shoes for very cheap.

I have ECCO shoes that have lasted me 4 years. The soles are pretty hard and there is only slight wear on them, because they are hard they took a while to break in but I was fine wearing them nearly 24/7 in Alabama.

Skip socks and shoes and just put him on a Segway or scooter for old people. He can be the barefoot guy on the scooter. His feet will be fine.

I have more brilliant ideas if you would like them.
