Skirts!

Being back in Utah has been wonderful. No agenda. Nothing planned.

I loved a skirt I saw here, and decided now was the time to recreate it. My sewing machine in Baltimore is broken (fixable, but I haven't figured out where to take it yet) and I decided it's always nice to have Mom's expertise around when it comes to putting in a zipper.

These two skirts were the result. $11 each.

So cute! I'd like to think that if I were at home I would have gotten one too! Very fun project!

I've been eying that same blog post with the instructions, but I've been a bit to intimidated to try it on my own. What do you say to making another skirt when you come to Portland to visit? I've got a machine and I'll get the supplies ahead of time and you can help me put it together. I think it sounds like a great plan!
