We had such a great day!
First we went to REI, in search a backpack for a cousin and bike for me. No dice on the backpack, but yes dice on the bike! $549---->$160. Go REI. I have great plans to become a bike commuter. At least when it cools down, but before it gets really cold. :)
Then, to Smyth, to get my ring cleaned.
Mid-day we headed to the M&T Bank Stadium to watch the Raven's Practice. We will probably never have enough money to ACTUALLY go see them play, but you bet we could make to the FREE practice. Check out our awesome seats!
Lunch called for a chicken box. This is probably the most famous food item Baltimore has to offer (even more so than the crab-cake. Visitors eat crab-cake. Locals eat chicken boxes). Neither of us had ever had one before, so we headed to Lexington Market to find one. And we did. There so SO MUCH food, we should have just gotten one.
Then we came home and installed part of the Thule rack that has been housed in the Living Room for the past month. My car is so sporty now! Ready for all sorts of bikes, and kayaks, and skis! (yes, we have racks for all of those items. If only we had a kayak, or there were mountains worth skiing in...)
So fun spending time with that Husband of mine. :)

Did you just get the bike for that price because you work there? Or was it really on sale for that much! What a good deal! And I thought you were 25 minutes away from REI (driving). (I could be wrong about that.) Are you really going to bike that far?
It was really on sale for just about that much! It was really $179, and then I got a 10% discount.
I will never ride to work. It's all up hill, although it's only about a 13 mile ride. I will ride home. It's all downhill, so there isn't much to loose.
What will happen a lot more though, is that I will ride to the light rail that is about 3/4 mile from our house, to the light rail stop about 1/2 mile from REI. I did it today, and it takes about 45 minutes. Not bad, considering I've been spending way too much money on gas lately.
I read 3 chapters today on my commute. :)
