I've lived in Baltimore for over five years, and never made it to the inside of the White House. Some people spend five days here and manage to do that.
A friend of ours from church set up a tour, and we were more than happy to jump on board! It was really fun to see it all decorated for Christmas; there were so many trees! Some rooms had three huge ones! The biggest one was in the Blue Room (it's the official Christmas Tree) and I still am boggled as to how they actually got it into the room.
The pictures are mostly of me. Because Andrew got a new phone, which means he got a new camera, and he was really excited about using it.
This is the White House Gingerbread house. It's made of gingerbread, and covered in white chocolate. Amazing? Yes.
The whole lot of us.
Just the two of us.
Walking away.
Andrew and I in the East Wing. We were hoping you'd be able to wee the window decor and all the garland in the hall, but it turns out all you get is us.
Me in the East Room. Notice, there are three trees in this room alone.
Belgian Hot Chocolate at Brunch afterwards.
