Last night during Family Home Evening, Andrew took Lydia took from me so I could do something. Lydia immediately started crying and turned towards me with outstretched hands.
Noooooo, I said! You NEED to be able to go other people!
Let's hope it's NOT a phase, but an isolated incident.

You're mama! Your presence, your smell, your everything brings safety and stability to Lydia's world. But as she has repeated experiences where you leave and come back, she'll also learn trust and that will ease her worries about you being gone and make it easier on your heart, too. Plus it's super helpful if she gain trust that Dad knows how to do things, too! Poor Dads take the brunt of their babies mistrust.
